Congrats!

 Hello!

A quick post for today.  This card was made simply, a money holder for my grandson's 5th Grade Graduation!

The stripes were foiled with rainbow foil, then cut down and placed on the mini slim base, a stamped and cut sentiment, a bit of ink blending and then popped it up.  EZPZ!

By the way, my sweetheart grandson informed me that he keeps ALL of my cards.  Pretty special boy, I'd say -- he makes my heart happy!

Supplies:
   Splb - Diagonal Stripe background
Splb - Hmmm forgot the name of this die!
   PTI - Sentiments

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the weekend.

Hugs,
TK

Handsome New Smile!

 Welcome, Dear Friends!

I've come today with a card made for my sweet grandson.  Just last week, he had one tooth pulled (a baby that just wouldn't let go of its spot) to make room for the adult that had come in behind it.  As if that wasn't enough, they decided to help the move along by giving him braces -- all in ONE day!  Ugh!  I remember braces quite well unfortunately.  Anyway, he's got a handsome new smile and so I got to make him a card!

Stamped, masked, ink blended, colored the image, cut down the panel and die cut his name.  Then I used a silver Signo and added in those braces!

See that handsome smile?  Almost as cute as my Grandson's!  I used the colors from the recent Color Hues but didn't make it in time -- que sera, maybe another time.   Here's the true handsome smile (used with permission) ~

Wow, pure pride and joy, right here!

Supplies:
Jane's Doodles - Troublesome Duo stamps
PF - Diagonal Stitched Rectangle dies
PTI - In the Meadow (grassy knoll/sky mask), Smooth Alpha

That's it for today, thanks for the visit and have a great weekend!

Hugs,
TK

Programmed to Party!

Hello, Friends!  I missed you guys

I've been tied up with, well life, and have hardly made it to my craft room.  However I knew I had some cards to make so I carved out a couple hours yesterday.  This one will go to my grandson who turns 9 on Saturday.  This will be his second Birthday which can't be properly celebrated but he's a trooper.  I think WE wish he could have a better party more so than he does!  Anyway, onto the card ~

I've had these little robots for awhile, and so decided I'd better use them BEFORE he turns into a teen!  The stamp set and the tic tac toe die are both NBUS and the die a freebie as well.  I decided to let the images stay uncolored, however now that I'm looking at it on my screen I seem to be questioning that decision - lol.  Maybe I'll color them later, since I have a couple days until it'll be given away.  I also used a couple snippets out of my ever-growing basket -- the white stitched bg and the red scrap both.

I'll be sending this to Pixie's Playhouse #400!!!!  and NBUS #25 too.

Supplies:
   E by E - Tac Tac Toe
   CB - Mini Bots

Well, thanks for stopping in -- hope you get a little sunshine today!

Marshmallow Hugs

Hello, Friends!  Popping in for a quick post -- I was able to make an Easter card for my grandson, but I don't have much time so I'll get straight to it!  This is actually my SECOND front panel, as I was in a hurry, decided to add a bit of sparkle (you know from all that sugar) onto my peeps, and well, yep -- muffed up my panel when a large splotch of sparkle jumped right out of my WoS pen!  Urgh!  So here's card #2 ~

And a peek of that "sugar shine"!

(Inside sentiment:  Squishy Hugs, Happy Easter)

I know my grandson will love it, it's a given when he's such a sweet boy!

Thanks for stopping in, and for your vault of love you always leave for me.  I appreciate your visits greatly, you keep me spurred on and challenged to grow -- thank you!

Hugs,

TK

E is for E-Fun

Hello!  Another day, another card, another elf...  There's so many great elves out there, and this one was talking to me.  No challenges today, just an elfin' card.  Enjoy!

First, I inked an e/f and ran it through my Express (well truth be told, twice!  First was the wrong side and all the words were backwards - doh).  I cut the panel down a bit and sat it flush on the base.  Then the elf, E-Fun, was stamped, colored with Copics and die cut.  He was popped up to stand out a bit.  Here's a bit of the dimension ~

Why is his name E-fun?  Well his stocking says E, and my grandson (Ethan) walked in and asked "Is that for me?"  I told him the E stood for Elf, but truth be told, the card is for him and we do call him "E-fun"!  He's a blast, full of love, joy and fun, and he'll be surprised to see that this card is indeed for him.

Supplies:
   MFT - Santa's Elves
   CB - Sledding e/f

Have a terrific week, and may you be caught up with all things holiday!

Hugs,
TK

Birthday Wishes & Hugs

Howdy, hope everyone is well today & enjoying every moment possible - we shall NOT be beaten down by the current situation!

I have a card today that I made awhile ago but wanted to save it until post-Birthday, and I've made it (actually last week!).  This is for my 8 year old grandson, oh my!  Here is my card (made in advance of the "theme" decision) ~

I started by stamping the image, masking it, then layering the stencil over the top to blend the sun rays.  I then removed the stencil but left the mask intact and did some more ink blending to soften everything up and add the sun behind the pilot.  Then I commenced to Copic coloring and stamping.

We couldn't do much for grandson's Birthday, but my middle daughter came up with the idea of a scavenger hunt.  My youngest daughter, his mom, came up with the idea of making the fun "hobbit-themed" so she did a lot of the clues that led him around.  All this to say, my grandson went all over the Tri-Cities escorted by his mom, visited each family member's home, got to do activities, puzzle solving, challenges, hiking, eating meals based on the books and finding his presents!  We had a blast but kept our distance while he was at our locations, but Grandson and daughter had an entire day filled with activities - literally!  I'm pretty sure he won't forget this one, even though he couldn't share with everyone or his friends all at once.

Hope you enjoyed the card, and possibly the story.  Good wishes to each and every one of you!

Supplies:
   Cat's Pajamas - Flying By
   MFT - Sun Rays
?? - sorry can't seem to find the "hugs" set...

Masculine Birthday Candles and Pup

HOW long has it been?  Well I believe WAY too long since I've been around posting or visiting, life is busy, Spring is under way and my yard and garden need attention, plus we've had a few wonderful visitors from Colorado in a couple of rounds!  We can all relate to busy-ness....but let's get onto the card since I know that's what you popped in for.

Son-in-law #1 (numbered by joining the family) had a Birthday yesterday, and I made this little diddy in a flash since I didn't wanna go empty-handed to a party that I hosted!  We had a joint Birthday party this past weekend to celebrate a couple Birthdays but his first!  It's pretty self-explanatory...

Well onto card #2...  This one's for my Grandson who turns 6 today!!!  Unbelievable!  Such a character and I really wanted a card that matched his personality.  Here it is...

Thanks for your support, I really appreciate your stopping by and supporting me even though I'm not always the most "regular" at posting.  Hope to catch up with all of you soon!

Hugs,
TK

Happy Birthday, Sweet Grandson!

Yep, you guessed it.... event #3 for Easter weekend!  My grandson was actually born the day after SIL #1's Birthday, so we get to celebrate A LOT in April!  My wonderful grandson turned 5 and it seems like my life is whizzing by faster than I can take it in!  Here is his card...

First, I apologize for the photography!  I seem to have gotten a bit "wonky" on my skills or maybe it was that I was lying on my belly taking pictures, or that I was just flat worn out after 3 celebrations AND Easter!  Either way, it seems I may have been tipping a bit.

I made a QACAS card, and colored it in a bit with Copics, nothing too fancy, but then he is only 5 and starts Kindergarten this year!  I won't be able to claim that long, since it seems like just yesterday he was born!  Lemme brag a bit while I have your attention -  he's smart (reading, counting and doing math already), polite, helpful, and loves to hug!  Wanna see a pic?  Here's an adorable one from his "friends" Birthday party (note the 'stache to look like Grandpa)!

Did I mention he loves to be silly too?   LOL!  Check out that one sock on, one sock off look too!  And how about that rock' hairdo?  He actually has a natural mohawk that stands up all by itself when his hair is shorter; however on this day his hair was just long enough to lay down!  What a boy!  Gotta love him, yep I do  :o)

PS Cute-asaurus, Alt Birthday Greetings, ME Ella & Friens
