Happy Anniversary "wreath"

A quick post to share a card wishing the Happiest Anniversary yet to our eldest daughter and son-in-law as they celebrate their 8th today!  I wanted a one-layer card, but ended up popping up the wreath and adding a sentiment strip, so I totally fell away from that "idea"!  Anywhooooo....

I used a few NBUS items, along with my new wreath builder template (thanks, Michele, for enabling).  This one was stamped, trying to mimic the colors of their wedding and hoping these look like gerbera daisies, but I'm close!  The focal was then popped up, the strip doubled and attached, and woila!  Wish I could say the whole thing went together as quickly as I can say it but alas, I don't have that knack.   Here's to the happy couple!!

Supplies -
   Casual Fri-Days:  Pretty Poses
   Sweet n Sassy:  Anniversary Innies
   MCS:  Banner die

Thanks again for the sweet visit, next time call ahead and I'll have the coffee on  :o)

Hugs,
TK

Bride & Groom

Howdy, Friendsy Folks!  I made a card using inspiration from a couple of different challenges, but declined to play in either one!  I used this
as my design and the now belated
as my theme.  You see, the Wedding Invitation that we received  was a teal in color with random golden "dots".  So with that in mind, I created this...

While the A2CAS challenge was over, and the MFT Wednesday sketch is still going, I could not find any MFT supplies that fit what was in my brain and what I had on hand!  I do like the card, as it is reminiscent of the Invite, using the same colors and "bubbles" or dots.  I'll take the inspiration from where I can get it, am I right?!  The wedding was last night, so it is in the recipient's hands.

Supplies -
PTI Hawaiian Shores and Gold Shimmer cardstock, EH Vellum
   SSS Falling Snow stencil
   Versamark ink, Gold ep
Reverse Confetti Topped Tag die (extended); PTI Sketched Shapes for lagel
PTI Love & Marriage for the sentiment

Thanks to all of you for popping in and spending a bit of your day relaxing and visiting!

Hugs,
TK

A Trio forTwofer #19

I started out with ideas, which quickly morphed, and well.... I got off track so I ended up making one of my Twofers with a different stamp (quite similar, yet different), so I jumped back into the craft room to try again.  I will share all three but only two will enter the challenge.  So here's my Twofer #19 entries - one Baby, and one Thank you

The first card, the Thanks, was made with a die cut window, ink blending, then stamping.

Lastly, I made my third card with ink blending over a stencil, die cutting two sizes to form a frame, and die cutting a third smaller for my whale base, Copic coloring and popping up the whale.

And my Threefer, because you can't waste a good card, was made with ink blending the sunny sky backdrop, die cutting waves and a beach, dry embossing waves into the water, stamping the whale (my slightly different whale) and turtle, fussy cutting then popping up on foam.  This one's a Get Whale Soon card -

Strike Up the Band & Celebrate!

A quick post, although I'm too late for the challenge (MFT Wednesday Sketch) I made it for...  This will be going to my dad for his upcoming Birthday, to celebrate 82 glorious years!  As some of you may remember, he recently had surgery and is still recovering from that, but his spirits are high and I wanted to give him something fun.  So here's his card..

My youngest daughter was a drummer in the drumline
of the local Marching Band, so I think he'll get a kick out of this!
I just knew I "had to have" this stamp when I saw it come out   :o)

Well I'm off for a few days with Hubbs, actually going to the NHRA Nationals in Kent this weekend, an early event for our Anniversary, marking 32 years!  I'll see you all soon!
