Happy Easter, Everyone!

 Hello!

I've unfortunately been quite absent lately, lots going on and now work is ramping up too, so time might be scarce for a bit.  However, I wanted to wish everyone a WONDERFUL Easter, full of blessings!

I have a couple cards to share, so I'll get right to it with as little chat as possible, and a few details.

Beautiful washi gifted from Bonnie last year, and I saved it so I could use these sweet bunnies this year!

Only a little heat embossing, die cutting and sequins here...

This next card is a new stamp that I adore, and put it to use right away ~

Copic colored, gold Washi to the left,  and all the yellow was given a golden layer of Wink of Stella, sorry it isn't visible in the photo.

My next card is a rubber stamp I've had for a few years and never used, so this needed to come out.  I think the "topiary" chicken is hilarious (go ahead look close)!

Again Copic colored, cut out and a borrowed Easter sentiment.

My next one is a newer die, that I just HAD to have ~

Ink blending in the background, the outline layered a couple of times, the cross was Winked, a few negatives popped out and colored then placed back in, the sentiment die layered on vellum and attached.

Supplies:
Card 1 - gifted Washi, MFT Blueprints 27 and Fiskars Holiday Hooplah sentiment
Card 2 - CCC Rose Cross
Card 3 - MFT Wonky Stitched die, Art Gone Wild - Easter Bunny stamp, PS Easter Blessings sentiment
Card 4 - SSS Outline Floral Cross die, SSS - Alleluia die

Again, that's it for me, I truly hope you have a blessed Easter!
He is Risen!

Hugs,

A Watercolor Rose for Easter

 Hello!

Today I have a really quick and easy Easter card.  I've had this Stamplorations card front on my desk for quite some time, which was one of several freebies I received with an order.  It has sat on my desk, void of attention because well, I felt like a cheater!

I've now pulled my "big girl pants" on and decided that it makes a really beautiful Easter card!  Actually, I WISH I could watercolor like this!  A sentiment from Reverse Confetti was added.

Post-photo, I decided that it needed a few dew drops, so those were added and I'm really happy with my card!

Hope your week is going well!

Hugs,
TK

Easter Blessings

 Dear Friends, welcome!

Although the weekend started with yardwork, after my knees and back were done, I moved into the Craft Room!  I was able to make a couple of cards, not great success but I'll take it since time is evading me.  There will be no challenges today, as this card "just happened".

The first card was an attempt at water color pencils, to no avail.  I tossed it aside but came back later trying to resurrect it.  I left the lilies white (unlike this one) with the exception of the greenery and a little faint color on the lilies to add a little dimension.

I thought it needed a little more pizzazz so... I decided to bust out the Kuretake shimmer paints and wash over the white area.  Success, except now the greenery looks ignored, so I added a little Wink of Stella.  Here's the end result in a video, if I can figure this out ~

Now THAT'S a lot of shimmer!

Supplies:
   Anita's - Lilies
   PS - Easter Blessings
PTI - My Mother, My Friend die

Well that's it for me today!  I'll post the other soon.  I'm a bit worn out after the yardwork (none all winter makes a lady sore).  Hope you had a wonderful weekend, and looking forward to Easter ahead!  We've got high winds in the forecast and snow in the mountains and hills -- hopefully you're done with snow for the year!

Hugs,
TK
