Merry Christmas in Turquoise

 Greetings, Friends!

A little disclaimer:  this one is definitely using artistic license so enter with caution -- or an open mind, either one, you decide!

I started by die cutting the poinsettia die and keeping it all together with Press 'n Seal.  I then watered colored several times with Zigs and a waterbrush to add a bit of depth.  I then carefully removed the "frame" of the die and generously pounced VersaMark all about, then dipped it in silver embossing powder.  After heat embossing, I placed the frame back around the flower, flipped it over using the PnS, and glued the underside before placing onto the die cut, pierced square.  The square was popped up with foam and the sentiment stamped.  Easy-peasy!  I do love the turquoise and silver together.

Thankful for Autumn Colors

 Hello!

Today I have a card for a challenge that I don't often get to play in, though I wish I did!  This card will go to CAS Mix Up:  Autumn Colors!  Drumroll please...

OK, I didn't actually need the drumroll but I enjoyed it 😁  I realize this didn't take rocket science, but I do like the card!  I merely "painted" stripes across the w/c paper, then did some ink smooshing with the leftover colors onto another piece of w/c card.  I used the secondary piece to die cut several layers of the sentiment.  I heat embossed the mondo leaf onto vellum and heat embossed it.  And a close-up ~

All layered up on the woodgrain c/s -- pretty fall colors.

Supplies:
   E by E - Mondo Leafa
   SSS - Thankful die

Thank you all for the wonderful visit!  Be blessed, be safe!

You Da Best - Fall-ish colors

 Hello!

Today's card is what I'd call a fall-ish card.  It has plenty of fall colors and a gray base.  Masculine?  Maybe.  CAS?  Maybe although it really was QACAS.  I used a layout I saw quite some time ago, and I'm not even sure where now.  Anyway, here it is ~

I wanted to use the pretty snippets of ink smooshing that I had because I really like the colors.  Then I found the pp that matched, and a second in the same pack that complemented the whole thing.  I then ink-blended a panel, staying soft, so I could cut out and layer the die sentiment, which was then placed on a vellum backer.  I really LOVE those little smooshed hexes!

Well that's it for me!  Hope you're having a terrific week, with lots of weekend fun planned!  Take care!

Woofing You...

 Hello again!

It's great to see you, even if in my head - lol.  I have a card to post and get to a challenge so I'll get right with it.  This one will be going to MFTWSC558 and NBUS #30 since I haven't used this one before ~

I really like the sketch provided, so I did a little playing.  I have two upcoming family Birthdays, and I don't know WHICH family member will get this because... well... we're all dog-lovers!  I stamped, Copic-colored and cut the cute critters out with their matching dies.  Then I penciled off my blocks and decided who went where.  From there I masked and ink blended, then popped them up and added the sentiment and few "accessories".  A close-up ~

I didn't plan on cutting out that cutie with his hiney facing us in the photo, but it just worked out that way -- really kinda sad actually!  Hope you like the critters!

Enjoy, and have a great week!

Sending Prayers

 Hello, Friends!

I'm popping in with another quick post - just one of those dreaded cards, and one more to make.  Here's today's card ~

While this card wasn't easily made (mentally, that is), I was able to pull this one together straight out of the snippets tray, so I'll try to come up with the supplies.  The only thing "new" here is the card base, the body of the butterfly drawn in and its winking.  A close-up to show a little shimmer and sparkle ~

I took inspiration from Darnell's Hammy and winked the butterfly, and backed the AI shimmer snippet with white cs, layering 3 times.  Literally the white stitched backing, the AI piece, the flower blossoms and the butterfly were ALL out of the snippet box, I just played with the layout.  Thank goodness for snippets today!

This will be sent off to Pixie's Snippets #411

Supplies:
   Prayers die (MFT)
   Stitched frame (Lil Inker-OOB).
Butterfly (SSS Butterfly drift - the negatives)
Flowers/greenery (PTI Fresh Floral Wrap-Up - flower portion only, not using the paper cone)

That's it for me, Folks.  Thank you for the visit.

Hugs,
TK
