Celebrate with Sunflowers

 Hello again!

I'm back again today with a Birthday card for a sweet daughter, I am actually blessed with three, this one is for Daughter #2.  This will post after her Birthday because we're celebrating late so we can have my grandson there too.  Here's her card ~

Can I just say that I love this sunflower?  Yes, it's a bit more orange than usual but I really wanted it posted over the background paper.  The cover plate and label is new-to-me and thus NBUS, it's really pretty I think.  Hindsight I think I went a bit dark on the green center of the sunflower, but live and learn right?!  I'll be sending this over to NBUS #23.  I never bothered to ask but, Darnell, if "new to me" doesn't count for NBUS, just boot me out - lol!  Hey I'm using stuff quicker though  ;0)  OK, well some...

Supplies:
   HB - Sweet Sunflowers
PTI - Lace Impression plate, Label L
   Alt. - Birthday Greetings

Well that's it for me today!  Have a bless day.

Hugs,
TK

  2. That is a gorgeous cover plate and looks beautiful with that big sunflower! I rather like the green center that perfectly matches the leaves, and in cardmaking - we can use any color our heart desires! Very pretty birthday card!

  11. "New to you" fits the never used before concept in my eyes, TK, because the "by you" is implied. If I added that ... we'd have NBUSBY. That's not bad, lol! But then I spose people named Busby might wonder why I "stole" their name for my aaaackronym! Your sunflower design is really dazzling and it's nice to see how you did it up in orange to make it cohesive with that beautiful background! Happy Belated Birthday to D#2 and how wonderful that you got to see your grandson! Take care and thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS(BY)! Hugs, Darnell
