Happy Easter!

Hello, and Happy Easter to everyone!  I hope that your day is blessed, and that you enjoy today and all that it holds!

Today will mark our 1st getting together with my parents in 15 months!!!  We will gather for Easter lunch, enjoy the sunshine and revel in God's glory, all while staying socially distanced in the yard.  I hope that your day is just as wonderful!

I've brought my Easter cards to share.  I challenged myself to make my cards thisyear (except Grandson's posted 3/24), all using the same stamp set -- so onto all the cards using W+9's He is Risen ~

BG stamp using Brilliance Gold ink and clear embossing, vellum cut just larger and embossed with sentiment and crosses at the bottom.

Partial heat embossed panel in Princess gold, sentiment on large label plus a couple of heat embossed vellum lillies, mounted on dark blue (looks purple-ish).

Individual images heat embossed in silver on light gray cs; sentiment is an NBUS 2-layer die cut in vellum and glitter cs.

Heat embossed BG in gold, a different sentiment in white on vellum.

Images embossed Rose Gold, large sentiment embossed on vellum in black.

That's it for me today, sorry the pics aren't any better but I ended up crafting late after work and photographing with only indoor light.

I do wish each and everyone of you a Happy Easter, and may you have a blessed day.

Hugs,
TK

Congrats (on your new job)

 Hello again!

Today I come with a card for a sweet co-worker -- she's moving "upstairs", and her job will be different, so I wanted to wish her the best.  Here's my card ~

I stamped this with an NBUS stamp, colored with Copics and popped it up over gray.  I wrestled whether to put this on kraft but the gray just made it seem brighter - so gray won!  I stamped the sentiment from a "freebie" stamp and used a label die to cut it to size.  I hope this brightens her day and makes the transition a bit easier.

I'll be sending this to NBUS ~

Supplies:
  MFT - Fairy Tale Friendships
C&9 - Petite Posie *freebie (sentiment)

Thank you for stopping in, and I hope you have a TERRIFIC day!

Hugs,
TK

Rejoice!

 Hello!

Today I've made a card for a new-to-me challenge.  While I made an Easter card, it's definitely not in the "colors" I would choose, but I wanted to stretch myself and see what I could come up with.  I'll be sending this to Color Hues #14 - Black & White ~

I used a large stamp and heat embossed using pearl white, added a touch of gold to the stamens then double matted the image in gold, then black -- I really hope that gold is considered "neutral", but if not, I've got another Easter card in in the process.  I stamped the sentiment in black on white cs and die cut it with a label, then placed two more black labels underneath to add to the black.  The image actually shows a light gray for the base, but it is truly white on white -- maybe due to indoor lighting.

Supplies:
   W+9 - He Is Risen
   PF - Diagonal Stitched Rectangle
SB - Label 4 (thanks again, Verna)

Well, the time is ticking on the challenge countdown, so I better go.  Thanks for the visit, my appreciation is boundless for your visits and support!

Hugs,
TK

Marshmallow Hugs

Hello, Friends!  Popping in for a quick post -- I was able to make an Easter card for my grandson, but I don't have much time so I'll get straight to it!  This is actually my SECOND front panel, as I was in a hurry, decided to add a bit of sparkle (you know from all that sugar) onto my peeps, and well, yep -- muffed up my panel when a large splotch of sparkle jumped right out of my WoS pen!  Urgh!  So here's card #2 ~

And a peek of that "sugar shine"!

(Inside sentiment:  Squishy Hugs, Happy Easter)

I know my grandson will love it, it's a given when he's such a sweet boy!

Thanks for stopping in, and for your vault of love you always leave for me.  I appreciate your visits greatly, you keep me spurred on and challenged to grow -- thank you!

Hugs,

TK

Friends Don't Let Friends...

...get older alone!  Yep, I'm afraid we're all in the same boat - haha.

Welcome, Friends!  It's been a long while since I've been on the blog, or anywhere for that fact.  I hope you've enjoyed your days especially since they seem to be getting warmer.  We're in the 50's to 60's here, bright and sunny with an occasional shower.  Spring is bringing wonderful colors again.

I made a card quite awhile ago now, but I didn't post due to it being mailed to the recipient.  I hope she's gotten it by now, so I'll brave it...

I used an NBUS stamp for the floral border but the die just didn't work for the size of card so some fussy cutting was the order of business.  While this stamp also has stencil layers so you can easily color in different layers, I chose to use Copics and do a quick coloring.  I also had used a color palette from a recent challenge but alas, that has passed.  And a close-up below shows the winking on the flowers (still hard to see) ~

Sorry I haven' been around much of late, something I'm REALLY hoping to rectify but time will tell.  With too much going on, some overtime at work, and subsequent stressors, I'm just plumb tuckered out once I get home and dinner is over.  Needless to say, I miss the blog, I miss all of you, and I hope that you are all doing well!

Supplies:
  PF - Incredibly Grateful
MFT - Anything but Basic Birthday Wishes

Hugs to all!
