Hello!
While I have a few card inspos swirling about in my brain, we are also hosting a weekend campout, and the work starts today! Hmmm, I'm not sure how many things I'll get done but you can bet your boots I'm going to attempt to make some of them while my brain is inspired!
Today's card came as kismet. I was inspired by CAS Christmas - Watercolor/Sunflower, however, that proved to be too much. I tried (sorry, Loll)! But my coloring ran and seeped, even though I thought it was dry. It wasn't apparent right away, so I was quite dismayed when I came back to finish it into a card! That said, I reverted to the original intent of the product and came up with this, prior to seeing the inspiration at another challenge ~
I ink blended onto the die, then the florals were then popped onto a die background and finished with a few Nuvo drops.
The base is kraft, the background die is a remnant of that lucious paper received from Stampin!withJaydee -- it's gorgeous IRL! And my drops? Well, I'm not great at them, Stickles yes, but clearly Nuvo drop challenged here. The sentiment was added on kraft with the espresso brown ink from the dark blending.
Well, that's it for me today, and this'll be heading to JUGs #841 - Stencil Week and
NBUS #90.Supplies:
WF - Sunflower Cluster die & stencil (NBUS)
SSS - Sparkler Scallop Frame (NBUS)
PTI - Simply Said (a gift from Darnell)
Hugs,
TK

Stencils have sure come a long way! This card is amazing. Thanks for joining in atJUGS!
A lovely September card! Those sunflowers are delightful, TK. Thanks for playing along at Just Us Girls!
How pretty and cheery. You did a great job on this lovely card.
I'm sad your sunflowers didn't work for CAS Mix-Up, TK, but they are a gorgeous addition to the Just Us Girls stencil challenge. Thanks for joining us.
Now that, my friend, is a wonderful ray of sunshine! I love the repeated sunflowers and the soft scallops of your base layer. Kraft was the perfect color for your background, too. The touches of orange in the petals add depth and the brighter green continues that bright sunshine feel. As for being Nuovo challenged, your drops look far better than the mid-shaped blobs I normally end up with!!
Have a fabulous weekend, hugs, Jaydee
It's my first time seeing this fabulous sunflower die and stencil set, TK!! SOOOOO fantastic - I couldn't love it more on this sweet, scalloped panel!
