Last but not Least

Welcome back for another episode of #pfcreateandconnect!
Class #2 was all about arches and boy did we use them, the first two designs are Carissa Wiley's ~

This arch was pressed, colored with stencils and then cut apart.  Separately, we used white ink to stamp on vellum, then heat set it before cutting it to place behind the arch.  Prior to attaching it to the base, we ink blended ombre on the base, so it would all show through the vellum.  While I didn't capture the white inking well, you get the idea!

This card is a tri-fold, using a white arch piece sandwiched between two panels as the third fold.  Here, arch stencils were used as a backdrop to the foiled/colored/die cut floral arch.  I lovc unique folds!

This card is designed as a Make & Take by Lea Lawson -- love the ombre rainbow inking!  The inking was done after foiling with the outline layer of the plate.

This card also used the arch outline press plate, and basic inking to creating a pretty arch.  The scalloped oval die was backed with vellum, which made a beautiful place for the sentiment!  This card was designed by Emily Midgett.

I HAD A BLAST!

Supplies:
PFS - Floral Arch frame plate/stencil/die; Oval Blossom die; ephemera foiled sentiments; gems & drops

That's it for me!  Thanks for sticking with me and mustering enough will power to stick it out!  I hope you are all staying cool, I know we've actually dropped below 100 in the last couple of days with promise of the temps going back up again - oy!
I think my next focus will be Christmas, one so I can try to decrease my deficit, but also to trick my brain into thinking I'm staying cool...

Hugs,
TK

Wow! What fabulous cards using the arch! It appears to me that you were an A+ student as all the cards are wonderful. I’m sure they look even better in person.
