Sympathy

These are never one of our favorite cards to make, but life brings us challenges around every turn, and this is just another!  I was asked to make a card for a co-worker who lost her dad last week, here's what I came up with...

The blossom branch was stamped offset on white cs, and the sentiment stamped and heat embossed on vellum, wrapped around and held tight, then centered on deep purple cs, and layered over some foam and then mounted on the craft cs.  I love this blossom branch, and I wanted something simple yet elegant.  Here's a close-up of the shine from the silver ep on vellum...

Unfortunately I do not always get a good white when I do the close-ups, so please bear with me (tips always appreciated)  And since these color fit in CTD #533, I'll be entering their challenge today.

Supplies -
Stamps:  Blossom - Beautiful Friend, Clearly Besotted; Sentiments - PT Mini Blossoms and Thanks
Die:  Stitched Rectangle - Li'l Inkers

Here's hoping all of you are avoiding the flu and colds, thank you to all my wonderful blog friends have left good wishes for me, and thanks so much for stopping by!

 Hugs,
TK

Such an elegant card and perfect for the sad occasion. Love how you stamped the pretty flower and branch off the page and the silver heat embossing on the vellum is delicate and so beautiful x.
