I'm flying in today, like a drop of water in a sizzlin' hot pan! Nope, temperatures are wonderful here, it's just that I don't want to miss this challenge -- and I believe it's my first time EvEr (thanks, Jaydee)!
It started with another new, NBUS set that fit my need to get serious about my Christmas card collection. This set comes with three sweet images, but I didn't want to miss the sketch over at The Paper Players #805. I loved the sketch and wanted to have a little fun, plus I attempted to use the colors from Color Hues #142 - Burnt Red & Amber!
I knew the paper I would use right away, so that helped. Now to find Copics... nope... I had to do a ton of color blending to get this close, so I hope it works! While my camera turned my colors more wine red and golden, I did my best and I'm happy with it. I also only partially colored the image this time, staying within my color limits (teehee)
😉
Here is an unedited shot, showing how much the camera was trying to change my colors! Needless to say, I love the card. These are not my typical Christmas color choices, but it worked for this cutie! There's actually 3 cute images in this set, so I'll be posting the other two soon but the clock is ticking at PP805!
Supplies:
UN - Mouse On A Merry Mission, Holiday Encore dsp (both NBUS)
WF - Nesting Postage dies
HA - Infinity Ovals
Thank you for the visit, you brighten my day!
Hugs,
TK

You're killin' me with these ADORABLE mice images TK...do I "NEED" them or just "WANT" them?!! Hmmmmm... But I digress...your sweet little mouse carrying his gift on the sled is just too cute and colored perfectly for our color challenge!! I love the DSP choices too!! WOW, TK you've accomplished so much creating this adorable card for 2 challenges! Your winter scene pops with those bright colors and the mouse is super cute. Love what you've done!
What a fun design with the offset postage cut DP's for your background, TK, great use of the colors and such a sweet image! Julia xx
More cute mice! You must be attracted to them TK, and I can see why. The papers worked their magic on a background for him.
I love your meeces to pieces, TK! In fact they made their way into a shopping cart - and ON SALE!! How lucky am I?
I predict a winner here, my friend!

This, my friend, is a WHOLE lot of CUTENESS!! So sweet, TK. Just like the lovely card that arrived in my mailbox today! xo
This card is absolutely precious!
I hadn't thought to use these colors for a Christmas card, but they are perfect, TK! Thanks for the inspiration and the delightful little guy with his present! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Color Hues!
TK, that mouse is adorable and personally I don't think you can have too many cute critters in one's crafting stash, you know what I mean? I was somewhat surprised, but these colors work great for a Christmas card, and doesn't the wee mouse look dapper in his yellow sweater! Such a darling card and you nailed the CH color duo. Thanks for playing along at both the Paper Players (congrats on your win!) and Color Hues!
What a sweet take on the sketch, TK! The mouse is adorable and looks perfect done up in the Color Hues combo.
Adorable card TK. Great images to work with the sketch and wonderful use of the challenge colours. This is such a happy and fun Christmas card!! :) xx
Love your design and the colors and of course that sweet mouse.
I'm completely blown away with your adorable mouse card! Amber and burnt red for Christmas? Given what you've showcased here: yes, yes and yes! WOW! Thank you for joining - and inspiring - us at Colour Hues.
