Today's card started with gifts from a friend!
I received these beautiful dragonflies tucked into a Birthday card sent to me over a month ago, and I unfortunately hadn't used them until today. An embossed panel, a pretty die cut piece of vellum, with a matching small die cut panel in silver glitter, all as a pretty base. I think took my 3 large dragonflies and ink blended with a few colors and glued everything together with a pre-foiled sentiment ephemera.
Then, a spark hit to go in a different direction, but I had already used my dragonflies - gasp! Not to worry, as soon as I received these beauties, I found the die and it fell into my basket. Then came this card ~
Ahhh, I like the glittery frame even better, but I realized that these dragonflies were smaller and the wing details different -- urgh! A different embossed base, a pretty glitter frame, a heat embossed sentiment and ta-da! Here's a photo of the two different dragonflies ~
However, with this picture I realized that the second card looked a little bare so I decided to go white-on-white with some pretty blooms. Once finished, this one went to my daughter for her 40th Birthday party! Here's a fresh look ~
Better? I think so! This one will also go to NBUS #91.

This is a great case of being inspired by your own card, TK, and both are beautiful with the blue-ish dragonflies and glitter. Your daughter's card looked great with and without the flowers.

It's amazing how these things keep dropping into our basket! What a fabulous addition to your stash. I love all the texture and the white on white allows those fabulous dragonflies to pop. A fabulous card for a momentous birthday! I did like it without the flowers, but think adding the flowers was the right decision. Hugs, Jaydee
