PFS C&C August 3.0

Hello again!

Today my post features Majestic Mountains and Trees - oh my!  This class was taught by Heather Hoffman, and mainly featured stencils and dies with only a sentiment stamped.  Here are my renditions of the cards ~

Card #1 featured the stencils mainly, with the die cut trees in addition, and card #2 featured the dies and a press plate impression in around the framed scene.

This card was a Make N Take by Dawn Woleslagle, with a frame cut-out.  I do like the split in the scene that adds more interest.  I left the sentiment off this one, as it may become a masculine card, I'm not quite decided yet...

Another class down, thanks for the visit and I'll be back again with more as time allows.  We have two end-of-season campouts coming up, so I'll try to work around those!

Hope you have an amazing week!

PFS C&C August

Hello again, Dear Friends!

I just noticed that I name my last C&C post incorrectly, these cards (and those) were from the August C&C not June.  Oops!

Today's cards will feature the Cozy Blooms set, led by Dawn Woleslagle.  I took a photo with both of Dawn's cards in one photo ~

Both of these cards stayed pretty close to Dawn's lead, using the wide washi tape.

These are are interesting!  These cards were designed by Kristina Werner, and the "woodgrain portion is 2.5"x4.5" but the flowers are wider, so fit nicely in a standard A2 envelope.  They make wonderful little notecards!

This card was designed by Heather Hoffman, and I'm not sure why, but I chose to flip it 90 degrees and a horizontal card instead vertical.  I also used gold glitter cardstock instead of heat embossing the frame.

Well that's for it me today -- thank you for the visit!

Springtime with Michele and Marcia

 Welcome, Friends!

Do you all remember that I was able to go meet one of my "internet besties" last March, AND I met a new friend too?  Well, while I was at Michele's house, I also perused her stash, stamped a few "likes" and brought them home.  Today's post features those items made into cards, that are not of the Christmas variety.  Buckle up, we're going for a ride!

Card #1 was a panel that was ink-blended using Altenew's Pristine Peonies, then mounted on a PTI Lavendar Moon panel debossed with a PFS Notched Corner detail die.  This card will go to Triple B - September.  While the mood board had beautiful yellow butterflies, blooms and a bird, I opted to stick with what I had.

Card #2 was actually made from some pretty leftovers from another card, and I'm sorry I don't remember the stamp used.  It was paired with an Altenew Organic Linen embossed panel and a PFS foiled ephemera for a QACAS card.

And the piece de resistance?

Card #3 is my favorite!  I'm not sure whether it was Michele or Marcia that came up with this color scheme but it just speaks joy into my heart!  The Stamp Market's layered Peony Dreams stamp, embossed SU Time Worn Type, over a layer of PTI Melon Berry c/s and one more PFS ephemera sentiment.  This card will go to The Flower Challenge #95 - Stamped Flower.
Love it!

Thank you for a few minutes of your time, and I hope you are gearing up for a fun and fabulous week ahead!  Take care!

Hugs,
TK

PFS August Create & Connect

 Hello!

I know I've been absent quite a bit, but I have had a chance to make a few cards.  I'll be trying to catch up with a few posts, so I hope I don't chase everyone away.

I had signed up for another PFS Event but was unable to make it due to family circumstances.  Here are my cards from Class 1, taught by Kim Kesti of Spellbinders, so we used a suite of their products called Gorgeous You - Perfume Bottle die, Flowers dies and sentiment stamps ~

Designs by Kim -- bold and definitely beautiful!

This first design was Heather Hoffman's Make & Take, using the products and I absolutely fell in LOVE with it!  Sorry about the weird angle, but I wanted you to see the silver foiled sentiment.  The second is my take on her card, adding a little bit of color and sequins, but keeping it light.

My take on Lea Lawson's Make & Take -- softer colors and changing out the sentiment.

Thank you SO much for the visit, and I hope you enjoyed the cards!  Have a great Friday!

Hugs,
TK
