Welcome, welcome!
Today's card is for Daughter #2's Birthday today! Since she has her card and gift, I can post it now ~
I've been wanting to use this NBUS stamp, and this particular daughter loves oranges, so I knew it would go over well. I also used a new tag die and a new sentiment set, so I guess I got a three-fer? No? Okay, but I'll just triple enter this at NBUS #83 - lol. I also had been wanting to use my postage collage die, though this isn't what I had in mind, it came together well, I'd say.
I stamped and colored the sunflower image, then winked it WoS. It was then die-cut and mounted on the card panel. Two tags were cut, the one stamped (and corrected), then tied together with gold thread and mounted on the lower panel. While you can't see the WoS, I assure you it's there, just hiding as usual.
Supplies:
UN - Radiant Resilience stamp, Perfect Layered Tags (both NBUS)
PB - Carefree Wishes sentiment
WF - Postage Collage die
Again, no posting lately. We've had the dreaded COVID rip through our house. We believe our poor Grandbaby got it first (so I was watching him to protect daycare), then Hubbs came down with it really bad, and lastly (I hope) I came down with it. It hit me light and while I try to keep my distance from recovering Grandbaby and Hubbs, we still all live in the same house. We are fortunate that currently Daughter #2 and SIL have evaded its grip. This was the first time Hubbs and I have gotten COVID, so we did evade it for awhile. Hubbs is recovering, but now has the cough that just won't go away. I have a bit of congestion at night, but no dreadful extreme sore throat nor extreme night headache. Yep, those were the two worst symptons for both of us.
Well, I hope your days are better, and that warmth is coming your way.
Hugs,
TK

So very beautiful and I bet the shimmer from the Wink of Stella really makes it elegant looking!
That is so bad you all got COVID! Glad you are starting to get over it. Meanwhile, your daughter’s card is fabulous. I bet she loved it 😍
Happy card for a happy occasion. This is lovely, TK.
What a gorgeous stamp! The splatters and collage die look gorgeous, TK! Oh, I bet your daughter loved it!
I'm so sorry that Covid paid you a visit - and that it will leave soon and leave you without any long-lasting issues!

What a beautiful way to wish you daughter a happy birthday! So sorry about the COVID, it's no fun. It found me once and hubby twice. Thankfully his second case was extremely mild. Sending get well prayers for all of you!
Sunflowers always make me smile and this is no exception, TK! I love that you put it on the postage stamp background that adds extra interest! I'm loving those tags too! So sorry you all have had Covid! Hopefully it will be gone soon with no rebound!
Your card is absolutely BEAUTIFUL TK!! I love using a larger stamp and a postage die together...it gives such a designer look to a card and you definitely achieved that with this one! Love the tags and gold thread too! I'm sorry to hear you and hubby and your grandbaby all caught the Covid bug...It found me once and that was more than enough! Nasty bug!! Take care and hope you're back to feeling well soon!! Hugs. :0)
Beautiful sunflower card for your daughter's birthday. Love it done over the postage stamp background. I'm sure she loved it. Sorry to hear you and your loved ones have Covid. Take care and hope you are all feeling 100% soon. xx
What a lovely card. I do like whole images on the postage collage frames. Its interesting and eyecatching. So sorry you have been hit with covid. My folks got it along with RSV at the same time. They are recovering. Sending along good thoughts for continued healing in your home and that your remaining family is spared. Hugs.
What a lovely card, TK! The large sunflower is so pretty and die cut with the postage collage die gives it a really unique look. Bet your daughter absolutely loved it. So sorry you and the hubs got the crud. I hope that his cough is gone!
This is gorgeous, TK. Sunflowers always make me smile and you have showcased this stamp beautifully. I love that you placed it on the stamp die. It adds additional texture and interest, but doesn't detract from that fabulous focal point. I also love that you doubled up the tag. I bet your daughter loved this! Oh, COVID. I managed to avoid it until we were on a cruise a couple of years ago, hope you are all recovering well.
hugs
