Welcome, welcome!
I'm back again with another couple of cards. This time, I'm loving the first card but the second one? The verdict is still out...
I started with the edger die and cut my panel in two, taping it back together on the back with removable tape. From there, I stamped, masked and colored with my Copics. I used WoS on the poinsettia centers for a little shimmer. From there, I die cut the matching word die twice, layering the white glitter over the champagne, then stamped a sub-sentiment.
Question: Emmanuel? Immanuel? I've seen it both ways, but honestly very rarely with an "I".
Close-up to show the shimmer and sparkle - at a weird angle, sorry...
My second card.... we must own even the ones that are not our favorite, right? I started with a basic set-up like above, but cut two panels one white, one red at the same time, swapping the white top with the red base. It was then embossed, and I wanted to ink blend an arch above the cut to showcase the stars I would be adding. It came out pinker that I wanted, so I switched to a deeper red but ended up blending the whole thing on accident! Waste not, want not, so I went with it adding stars and the sentiment, all cut from gold foil. The scripture was then stamped and added down below. I still believe this would've been better had I left that white arch above the sentiment, using the white scripture panel below. Thoughts? I may take this one back apart or redo it completely.
Since the Miracles Builder/dies are new from Penny Black, I'll be sending one of these to Penny Black Friends Saturday Challenge - Anything Goes and NBUS #81

I love these cards! They are both beautiful!
Pretty cards. Love the second one. The gold stars really pop against the red script background. Nice word die. Hugz
I think BOTH of these are beautiful TK! Your Poinsettias are so pretty and beautifully colored, and I'm loving the sentiment!! The top half of your 2nd card looks "pink" to me and I happen to LOVE pink & red together, so this card totally works for me my friend! Love them both!! Hugs. :0)
Love the poinsettias, and the pink and red of your second card is equally lovely.
TK, those Poinsettias are so beautiful and beautifully colored - no matter how you spell it the message is clear!
What I love most about card two are those gorgeous twinkling stars of wonder!

I LOVE these poinsettias, TK! I think either spelling is correct and the meaning is clear! The second card shows the shaped cut better and I love both the backgrounds! Well done!
Oh my, what beautiful poinsettias! I like the bit of sparkle you added to this one, TK. The second is lovely too. Like Michele, I love those stars! The only thing I would change is the white sentiment panel, everything else look great!
Your poinsettias are beautifully colored, TK, and I have never seen Emmanuel spelled with an I, but it works. The stars are brilliant against the reddish background. I'm with Lisa. Since there is no white at the top, I would ink blend the sentiment panel.
Beautiful cards!
Thanks for playing at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge!

Lovely set of cards, TK! The first one is a little more showy with the pretty flowers, but the second one has an elegant simplicity.
Both cards are beautiful and the sentiment on each one is perfect. Your poinsettias are colored beautifully. The pink & red together are lovely on your 2nd card. Love the shine of the stars and the sentiment.
