Welcome, Little One!

Hello!

Today's card is because, well, I'm a Grandma again!  Yay!
My eldest grandson just turned 13, so it's about time we added a wee one to the family.

Meet Asher Tobias
June 7th, 2025, 04:58 a.m.
7# 11 oz., 20 1/2 in.

All credit to Vicki, because these are my CASEs of her card here.

This was my second CASE, but my fave!  While I still LOVE Vicki's card, this is my final attempt,
and I love it!
I cut a different star from the center of my linen paper (same as the back panel which gave me texture), ink blended in a pale blue allowing the white to peek through.  I had the small dark blue star from the card but, but ink blended it a bit of darker blue around the edges.  The stars were cut, one colored blue, then small strips of paper were added as strings and mounted.  The sentiment was stamped, cut and hung off-center.  Oh, I did go back to add WoS to my "balloons"!

Supplies:
SSS - Vented Star die, Mini Stars die
MFT - Stars Above dies, Beautiful Baby stamps

My original card...  No subliminal messages about the NFL colors used please, I was going boy!

No, I don't have any dies like Vicki's, nor could I find any like it so I went with this die from Amazon -- I DO NOT recommend it!  It doesn't cut well, it left chads everywhere, edges to manually clean up and uneven spaces - ugh!
My afterthoughts were that "I could do better".   Honestly, I think the poor cutting of the die was wearing on me... thus, making the card above.
P.S.  I also need a very subtle embossing folder...

Supplies:
   Darice - Argyle e/f
   MFT - Stars Above dies
   PTI - Baby Mini

Welcome to the world, Sweet Baby Boy!

Thanks for the visit, Friends!
I may be off to get in a squeeze with Babykins!

Hugs,
TK

Congratulations to all, TK! He's a beaut! And I love both your cards! The second is very tactile, like a story book, in the bold primary colors with lots of interest and texture and the first one is such a superb CASE of Vikki's soft and sweet design! Hugs, Darnell
