Hello and welcome!
Today's card was made for a recent wedding, and the colors fit the bill. However, while I like the card, it may have some success and some needing a do-over. Let's take a look,
and by the way, there's some weird angles to show you the shine... ok, here we go ~
While this angle shows you no shine, you get a feel for the card. The pretty flowers got lost and definitely the sentiment too. Don't get seasick, but here comes the angle ~
Pointed away from me, and directly to the indirect light was the only way I could capture some shine. The flowers and leaves were copic-colored after hot-foiling a NBUS plate with silver. The vellum strip was a great way to not hide the image but a good place for the sentiment to land. Maybe a smaller sentiment? Everything was mounted on the card base, after adding the pierced panel. So this one will go to NBUS #75.
Supplies:
LDRS - Breezy Blossoms pp (NBUS)
Splb - Timeless Sentiments pp (also NBUS), New Beginnings Sentiments pp
MFT - Pinpoint Leaf piercing cover plate
I know, I know, don't be so hard on yourself... you're your own worst critic BUT, a girl can learn, right?!
That's all for me! Thank you for the visit and all kind words received.
Hugs,
TK

Great design but I do feel a smaller sentiment would maybe be better!. It’s really hard to say without seeing the card on person. I love the shimmer!
Pretty color combo. Lovely card!
The card is beautiful just the way it is TK and I'm loving all the shine! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
I love it from every angle, TK - especially that gorgeous green with the silver foiling! It's a fabulous wedding card.. did you fussy-cut your sentiment? SO cool!

That shine is fantastic and I love the soft colors in the flowers! The sentiment is perfect for a wedding. Maybe if it was stamped and embossed on the vellum?
Lovely combination of elements, TK. Thanks for the angled view.
If these were the wedding colors, you did a great job making a card to fit, TK. As for the sentiment, one which I love by the way, I may have embossed it directly on the vellum strip.
Lovely class design, TK! I think you did a wonderful job and I bet the happy coupled loved it.
I'll bet the happy couple loved and the love that went into it! It's a lovely card, TK!
WOW!! That is one AMAZING wedding card TK!! Love the silver foiled flowers paired with the lime leaves and embossed piece. Gray and lime are so beautiful together. Great work!! xx
Lovely card. I like that you did 2 Angles, Photographing shine/shimmer is hard. - Pretty colors. I agree with a couple of the people about perhaps embossing the sentiment on the vellum.
