Welcome!
I'm sure you weren't expecting another post from me BUT...
I had a meet-up with Ida on September 4th. She graciously gifted me with a few images she'd stamped and so I'm here to share them with you ~
First up is a fall bouquet, sweet as can be, but I tried to follow Ida's lead and use pencils and gamsol... with limited success. While I did okay with the larger images, I found it difficult (even with a smaller stub) to blend in small areas thus I went outside the lines quite a bit - oy! I was able to clean it up a bit with a white pen, but I'm only mildly happy with my end result...
Oops! Somewhere I lost this image's information!
Next up, we have a very sweet image with a handsome pumpkin and a sweet bird singing with all his might! I colored the front image with Copics, and attempted to place it on my fall, pencil-colored background but knew I'd have to put a little solid color between. So I cut a small label and popped up the pumpkin image overtop, keeping the label to minimum so I didn't cover up too much. A sentiment was stamped and cut into an angled label and mounted with foam tape. Hmmm, the more I look at this photo, the more I see how washed out it looks! The bg is much more colorful and a wider variety of tones than you see here. I might have to fire the PS artist!
Unity: Kit of Month (Sept); BG of Month (Aug)
MFT - Elegant Stax label
MCS (oob) - sentiment
Last but not least, I colored the sweet girl image, cut her wonky, and mounted it over a piece of paper I received as a sweet gift (in a very large box) from Carol Hintermeier -- thanks again! The sentiment, a pre-printed label was added.
Unity: Kit of Month (Aug)
HB: Sweet On You dp
SSS: Sentiment Strip
Three's a crowd, right? I had one more image, but you'll have to wait on that one!
Thanks for the visit; and thanks, Ida, for the afternoon of fun with you and your granddaughter!
Hugs,
TK

All the cards look wonderful to me! And all are beautiful images so i hope you had enjoyment making them. Don’t feel bad about traveling outside the lines. I use my white gel pen all the time. I’m glad that type of coverup tool is available! My hands aren’t as steady as they used to be so going outside the lines is a given these days! But I still have fun!
Great job on all of these! Fun eye candy post
Tk, from where I'm sitting these are ALL colored just beautifully! I love the pastels with the Autumn colors on the first, the adorable little bluebird and pumpkin from Unity, and always admire those darling girls from Unity, too! [I love her grey jeans!]
Well done, YOU!

These turned out great. I'm so glad you liked the images. I think your pencil/blending on the first card looks just fine. Love how you paired the pumpkin image with the leaf background. Your coloring on the girl looks good. Great job on all the cards.
Wow! That's a lot of coloring and I think you did an awesome job, TK! And I'm seeing clearly now. I love the variety of colors in you fall bouquet, the gorgeous pumpkin with the leaves falling in the background and especially the sweet young lady looking so warm and toasty!
I think all 3 of these cards are FABULOUS TK, and I couldn't find any oops on the first one. I think we're our own worst enemies sometimes and just get too critical of our work! I love to color and am not going to let the joy of it be diminished by what I think of my lack of skill in a particular area! But anyway, you came up with 3 delightful cards and I enjoyed all 3!! Hugs. :0)
All three cards are terrific, TK. The bouquet is delightful and I love the girl but the background of the pumpkin card is my favorite. I love all the colors you used.
What a lovely set of fall themed cards, TK. Your coloring is so pretty. I especially like the beautiful pumpkin on the second card!
