On Valentine's Day

 Hello!  Are you surprised!  I'm back for a few posts, then probably away again helping a daughter again. 

Today, I'm here to post a couple QACAS Valentine's Day cards - just a little fun.  I love these sweet images ~

All three are on a Natural White card base, though they don't look like it.

All three are Copic colored and popped over a colored base.  On this one, I added a wee top hat and bow to the couple, then winked the hat and their tails!  While you can't see it, it's there I promise.

This one used a new die for the bg - PB Simple Stackers.

It's Always Been YOU

Hello, back again, ready or not!  Woot Woot!

I made another card this past weekend and wanted to get it in before I miss another challenge!  Every time I get a bright idea, I look again and the challenge is gone - doh!  Well Not This One!!  I'll  be sending this one to TO #179 - You and NBUS #22, because well it's a "new to me", NBUS stamp.

I think this one will go to Hubbs for VDay -- shhh!  And since it's for him, I couldn't resist a little wink of stella to help him relate - haha!

You might have to look close, it's on Mr Gnome's beard -- EXACTLY why Hubbs can relate!

Flowers, and Flowers!

 Hello, and welcome to 2021!  Oh yah, it's me that's late... 😕  Anyway, here's the official start of 2021 for me and the blog, I mean it's only January 18th!  Ugh!  I have some cards to share, and send to a few challenges - the cards were all made with the same stamp set, a new to me set actually a "win" from The Twofer Challenge. 

Card #1 -

And a close-up ~

Heat embossed the flower with silver pearl e/p, water colored with Zigs, dry embossed to create a "frame" (somehow it appears my lines wandered around which I assure you they are straight), then again heat embossed the sentiment.  This one head to The Flower Challenge #52-embossing, .

Card #2 -

Stamped image offset, colored with Copics, placed off-centered with some matching pp to make those leaves pop!

And the two together ~

will go to  Twofer Card Challenge #34-Flowers, NBUS #22 Jan '21.

AND I actually made a Threefer, but I'm saving that one for another day  😉

Cup of Cheer

Hello!  

I wanted to pop in and post a card I made last year but well...  you know, life.

A cut tag, stamped the element and colored with Copics, placed over a piece of pp.  Well, a little too much, so I cut down the pp and placed a larger piece of vellum atop, better.  I don't know if you can tell but I used rose gold e/p, which matched nicely to the pp so that's where I drew the colors from.  And a close-up to show the pp and the center gems (colored with a Copic).
