Here is one that I've completed, and so I'll put it into a couple of challenges knowing well that it isn't my best. But! When you get thrown from a horse, you MUST get back up, so here it goes...
My die cuts were cut from a leftover watercolor panel from another card and deeper accents sponged on. I used an inked embossing folder and light pressure to transfer the woodgrain in color instead of dimension. I left off a sentiment, and even left the inside blank to fill out when I use it.
When I saw Estelle's inspiration card at MUSE, I knew I had to try. I love the beautiful pop of burgundy, the homey wood-grain and then those beautiful leaves so I used them for inspiration, changing up the colors and leaves. Take a peek & enjoy...

Well it doesn't look to me as if your creativity is on a low. This card is fabulous and the subtle background perfect. Sometimes when I can't get my creativity going I just leave card making for a while and do sometimes else or re-make a card I really love but just in different colours x
Beautiful card TK!!! Fun fall colors!
Love your water colored die cuts. It's very creative!
Thank you very much for playing along with my Muse Challenge.
Estelle
Gorgeous fall colours! Thanks so much for joining us at Muse this week!
Gosh I hope work gets better for you as the week goes on. And as I see it, your 'groove' is just fine. This is a lovely take on Estelle's card. The woodgrain is marvelous - darn clever too! And all your die cuts echo her leaf dies. Wonderful card. Bev
I LOve this, TK!!! Your efforts have rewarded us all! Gorgeous stamping with your embossing folder! You know I cannot resist it - or these lovely leaves! xx

Lovely fall colors. Wonderful interpretation of Estelle's card.
I love it when you can re-use panels previously created for other cards; it saves a bit of time - right? Sometimes, those leftovers spark a totally different idea for a card; So sorry that your other creations ended up decorating your trash can. Love your inked woodgrain idea - super clever.
Love the depth of color on your die cuts!
Wonderful colors on your cuts, left over panels are perfect for die cutting.
Way to merge the two challenges, TK. I feel your frustration.
I love that you cut your leaves from a left over watercolored panel! Looks great! Thanks for playing along with us at the Color Throwdown this week!
really fab take on both the challenges, tk!! I am so very sorry that your work frustrations continue... I hope that things get better soon!!
Gorgeous card...love all your beautiful fall leaves! So pretty.
I think you're too hard on yourself, TK! This is a terrific card and I love how you chose to use the blue color!! Hugs, Darnell
Goodness, if this is a lack of mojo, TK, I need some of it! Gorgeous texture, such rich, beautifully coloured and inked leaves ... and that strip of blue puts me in mind of delicious bright autumn mornings ... just lovely! Hugs, Anita :)
You ended up with a beauty ! I have days like that too! Sometimes I don't even go in the craft room because I just know I'm not ready. Looks like you are on a roll again,TK :)
