Just a quick post as this week's been hectic, to say the least. Frustrations (and extra work) at the job, although I'm EXTREMELY thankful for the hours, I think we can all do without the frustrations! So onto the card...
I made this card for an upcoming Birthday at work, and it just happens to fit nicely into Freshly Made Sketches #261, except that I turned it on edge and widened the middle strip.

Lovely ombre inking and that frame is fantastic around your lovely flower.
That doily is gorgeous, TK, especially with your ombre inking.
another lovely fall design, tk!! so sorry that you are experiencing frustration at your job. I know things will get better!!
Very pretty design TK. Love the leaf with all the surrounding white space so it really pops. Such beautiful colours. Great design with adding colour to the borders and the pretty gold embossed sentiment banner. Your friend from work will love this! xx
Beautiful...love your lacy edge in that beautiful shade of red/orange, simply gorgeous.
What a lovely fall leaf, this is pretty TK!
Gorgeous leaf, TK ... I love how it's soft, loose edges mimic the delicate sponged frame around it (even though it may not have been intentional, it looks lovely!). Hugs, Anita :)
Another pretty, pretty card, TK! I love the gold; it looks so rich and lovely. I agree with you about the edges; I thought you'd done it on purpose! Clever girl! I hope to jot a quick email to you tonight yet...Take care. Bev
This was a great way to use. The sketch, and I adore that gorgeous leaf. Really beautiful card. Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
I think the bleeding watercolors were a happy accident - it gives the leaf such a soft look even with its brilliant colors. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
