Hang In There!

 Welcome, welcome!

Today's post is all about encouring my son-in-law.  Yes, this would be the one who was in a severe accident, just 4 short weeks ago.  He's doing pretty amazing, considering the trauma and LifeFlights he's taken!  He even returned to work part-time, more for the mental stimulation than anything, as he's finding it hard being still.
Here's his card ~

The new image was stamped, then the bobber, worm and heart colored with Copics.  I then masked them off and sponged the water and sky, drawing in more skyline break.  He's pretty cute for a guy hanging on for dear life!

Supplies:
   UN - Danglin' (NBUS)
MFT - Wonky Stitched Rectangles, Waves stencil

Have a great week!

This is perfectly cute and I'll bet it sure lifted your son-in-law's spirits! The fact that he's gone back to work part time tells me he's healing... thanks be to God!

TK, this card is absolutely perfect and completely adorable. I'm amazed that he's back at work, but can totally understand the need for some normality and stimulation. Prayers for their continued progress and kudos on the fabulous card!

First of all, TK, I'm so sorry to hear about the accident. I searched back to find what I had missed. I'm glad to know your daughter was not seriously injured, but even so, worrying and caring for her hubby is also a trauma for her. Your SIL sounds like a very determined man and it's wonderful news that he is making such amazing progress! I pray that life can soon return to normal for them with no long-term residual problems.

As for your card for him, I love it! I'll bet he will love it, too, and it will cheer him on big time! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell 🫶

What a fabulous and utterly adorable card for your SIL, TK. I'm so glad he's healing well enough to work part time. Prayers that the healing continues and life gets back to normal.

Like Darnell, I had to read back as well. I am so sorry to have read about this. I'm glad that your SIL has your family to help and most of all to pray for him. If it would help maybe you could organize a card drive and we could send cards to you for him or to a post office box. My husband and I will pray for your family. Not just for healing health but for the expenses. [Bunny]
