Faith Wreath

Good Day, Fine Feathered Friends!
(or at least that's what Hubbs would say - lol)

Today's card brings the reverse foiling of this card, something I'm not sure I'm that good at...  You decide.  While I know that this "wreath" isn't really for Christmas, with all that foiling I believe it's an easy pass.

I reverse foiled, cut it out with the die and then cut out the die again on the top layer of white cardstock.  Behind the negative, or between the two layers of white, I placed a red piece of cardstock glued to the white with only the very center removed.  Clear as mud, right?!  I added a red ribbon and bow, then placed the foiled sentiment overtop.

So why don't I think it worked?  Well my issue is that once you reverse foil it and pull off the clear portion of the foil, it always leaves what appears to be tiny scratches or imperfections in the reversed portion.  Now, while you can't see it from your view, it's there and kind of annoys me...
Anyone else have this issue?  Anyone have a solution?
Yes, I heat the solid plate twice, then time it once more with the foil and cardstock in place.
Well, that's my dilemma for the day!  Lol -- wouldn't it be grand if all problems were this simple?

Supplies:
PFS - Floral Octagon Frame pp
   Splb - Holiday Greetings pp

Yep, I'll be submitting this to Christmas Kickstart #101

Well I'm off on a couple of errands and then a few hours of squishing on my newest grandson!
Have a blessed day.
