Birthdays Abound!

Hello, and welcome to my little world!

It has been a rough,  but event-filled week.  I was able to make a couple cards quickly (wish I had more time, but more on that in a bit)!  We're celebrating two Birthdays today, celebrating yesterday but actually one was Wednesday and the other was yesterday.

Here are my cards ~

My grandson turned 13 yesterday!  Ack -- how does that even happen???  I'm told he still loves my "cute" cards, that he even saves them -- how sweet is that?!  I told him that I'll try to be more age-appropriate from here on out... maybe?  Stamped, copic-colored, cloud popped up, panel layered over washi -- pretty basic in the making.

And talk about age appropriate!  NOT!  This card was for my son-in-law.  He's awesome and always has goals, so I'll pretend that it's appropriate.  Stamped, copic-colored, then the moon was masked and the sky ink-blended in.  A couple of white pen highlights on the fox - EZ PZ.

We wish both our very best!

Supplies:
Card #1 - ME Ella & Friends, washi
Card #2 - CCC A Fox's Life; MFT Wonky Rectangles; LF Upon a Star; Splb Wonky Squares

As for me and more time?  Yep, I put in my two weeks notice!

Hugs,
TK

Couple of fun cards. Yes, I can’t believe my grandson will be 2! They grow up so fast! 🤗

Both are age appropriate in my book, TK. What a great job coloring that elephant. I'm not that good at coloring large areas with alcohol markers. The little fox is darling and definitely suitable for a masculine card. Beautiful job coloring that one too.

These are both adorable TK, and yes, where does the time go?! Our oldest grandchild is 10 going on 21 and it just blows me away! So if I'm reading your post right, you're retiring in 2 weeks?? That's awesome if you are...CONGRATS!! Hugs and Easter blessings my friend!! :0)

Absolutely love both cards! The elephant card is so cute and the fox scene is very masculine looking! You did great on both! My oldest grandson is 24 and the youngest granddaughter is half way to four already. Time goes by fast!

I love them both and am sure that your grandson and SIL both loved the thought you put into making them special, TK. And who wouldn't love this darling elephant and fox no matter their age?
I'm so excited for your next adventure, my friend!

Wonderful set of cards, TK! So sweet that your grandson still likes your "cute" card designs. And I bet your SIL loved his card, too. Congrats on your new adventure. I hope it involves you spending more time creating and sharing!

Two adorable birthday cards, TK! Thirteen is a tricky age and it's so sweet that your grandson loves and saves your cards! Love the fox and the constellations to reach for! Congratulations on your upcoming retirement! Retirement is wonderful and I'm so glad you are joining the ranks!

Both of these cards are so fun and age appropriate. I'm loving that sweet little elephant card though. Happy you will have more crafting time now.
