Happy Birthday Floral

Hello, Friends!  (or at least I hope I still have a few hanging around, holding out hope for me)  I haven't been around, this is even my FIRST post for this year -- pathetic!  I miss seeing everyone and I miss my crafting time but I'm still praying that this too will get better!  I have made a couple things but haven't really had time for posting, so will hope to do so in the next week.  Soooo.....

This one's for Anita -- and I know I TOTALLY blew it and missed her Birthday, but her card was in the mail and hopefully she's gotten it by now.  Bestest wishes from Washington, and here's hoping that you had a beautiful day, and your card is in hand.  You're a beautiful person, so sweet and uplifting and always supportive!  Thank you!!

I did a little embossing to hold in my Ziggs where they belong, then did some coloring, corner punching and popping it up on dimensional tape.  Though I think I still need A LOT of practice, this is possibly my best Zig creation yet.  I had fun mixing colors, which I haven't been brave enough to do before.

Well, onto my next project hopefully and I can come visiting soon!  Blessings to you all, and I hope we meet again soon!

  1. Love that beautiful bloom, and you've done a bang up job getting Zig-y with it, TK!

  2. For me?? Oh merci beaucoup, TK ... thank you so much! What a beauty ... your colouring and shading is simply splendid ... and I love the punched detailing on the corners! Thanks so much too for your lovely words ... I'm blushing ... and for taking the time out from what I know is a busy schedule to post this gorgeous card (in both senses!). It hasn't arrived yet, though that just means I can keep the celebration going longer! Hugs, Anita :)

  3. Just beautiful...love your amazing yellow flower, gorgeous!

  4. You did a great job with the Zigs, TK, and the flowers look wonderful on that lacy cornered panel

  5. Nice to see you back TK, let me wish you a belated Happy New Year! Your card is just lovely, what wonderful colors. I like that the little stitched leaves aren't lined up on the regular leaves. It's very eye catching!

  6. Fabulous card - the coloring looks fantastic!
Nice to have you back in blog land, TK!

  7. Lovely card TK, and I am sure ANita loved it.

  8. what a lovely card, tk... the watecoloring is perfect!!
