In Memory of...

Yep, life has been hectic lately but I wanted to make a card for a friend, as her husband, a good friend of ours for years, has passed away unexpectedly a week ago.  It's always sad and disheartening when you lose someone.  Life goes on, hearts mend, but the holes can never be filled.  Our friend was, as Hubbs put it, "a real true person, and possibly the most interesting person you could meet".

I stamped and clear heat embossed the background, and ink blended in a circular fading pattern.  I then heat embossed the sentiment on silver vellum in silver ep and attached it with  rolled glue dots placed discreetly behind the words.  I then die cut the solid and lacey butterfly and glued them in place too.  Here's a close-upphoto showing a little shimmer...

I'm a little bummed, I just missed the CTD #383, but I will be linking up to:
   MFT Sketch Challenge #281
CAS Mix Up Challenge - May

Supplies:
Stamp - MFT Roses All Over BG; Hero Arts "Everday Sayings"; PTI Healing Sentiments (inside)
Dies - Simon Says Chrissy & Leanna Butterfly
Paper:  Neenah; The Paper Studio Silver translucent

Thank you all who come by, I know I haven't been very regular but I'm hoping to remedy that!
Can I hear you chanting "let's go, TK, let's go"?  Hopefully....  Hope you all have a wonderful week!

TK
