...here's my kard! I used two colors of distress ink to ink up my ef, then spritzed with water, inserted my watercolor paper and pressed with my hands. After 30 seconds or so, this is what I opened up. I then trimmed it down a bit and mounted it offset, cut a diagonal strip, ink blended and added my sentiment, then mounted that. I also inked another sentiment to go inside, because this will be my Mother's Day kard! My mom doesn't have internet, so she doesn't see anything that I make until she gets it so I'm safe. :oP
Edited to add: I did run my original argyle folder through the die machine, but while playing, ingenius Michele came up with that idea and loved it (give her the credit for this one)! So on second watercolor paper, I did just that using the mostly debossed side of the card. However, not as pretty IMHO. I think the original, mostly embossed side on this folder would work much better. Just have fun it it!!!
EF: Darice Bold Daisy
Ink: Distress Inks - Wild Honey and Mustard Seed
Stamps: ME Blessed, MCS (out of business) Chunky Alphabet and PTI My Mother, My Friend
Die: Li'l Inker On the Diagonal
I'll be sending this to a couple challenges:
Stamplorations CAS: March - Anything Goes, twist of Yellow
CAS Mix Up: March - Watercolor, Stamping & (my choice) Die cut
I hope you all hop over to Michele's to see her kard! I'm sure she made something amazing, as always! Again, thanks for stopping by and leaving your sweet comments that bless my socks off!

TK this is beautiful and so glad you had time to play cards with Michele!!
Hello, TK! I stopped here after visiting Michele's blog...LOVE your beautiful daisies and the fun color combo you chose for your card...so pretty!
Found my way here from my sweet friend Michele's blog, isn't she just the BEST!! I LOVE your pretty sunny card. The flowers are wonderful and what a lovely font on the sentiment. I'm now a follower, looking forward to more of your fabulous work TK!
I popped over from Michele's blog. Your card is beautiful! Of course I am a bit biased since yellow is my favorite color. Welcome to blogland and I look forward to seeing more of your wonderful creations.
Sounds like the two of you really had a ball playing long distance cards! Such a fun idea, and such pretty, pretty flowers. That yellow is such a warm and Springtime color; something we sure could use about now... it's snowing! Sweet card! Bev
Now I want to jump on the bandwagon and make a smooshed ef card. I've done the ef printing but this takes is to another level, TK. Your daisies are wonderful, so bright and cheery. Your Mom will love it.
What a great technique! I love this bright sunny card!
Ok...I love the end result but I am trying to follow this between your blog and Michele's... Did you put it through the Big Shot to emboss? The colors are fabulous! Michele looks like she embossed. I am definitely going to try...thanks for sharing! PaperSweetness.com
Since you are a "no reply blogger" and I can't locate an e-mail, I hope this gets to you! I did not emboss my original argyle pattern or this sunflower card, originally. However, Michele - icardeveryone.blogspot.com - came up with that idea, so I ran with it on the second attempt with the sunflowers. I much preferred the original side I inked up though, so can't say that I liked the one ran through the die cut machine. However, I do LOVE Michelle's when she did run hers through!!! Thanks for dropping by, and welcome!
This is STUNNING!! I LOVE the bright, happy colors. This technique is GENIUS and am going to have to try it!!
LOVE these daisies and colour combo! I will have to look at my EFs with a different eye!
Popped in from Michele's blog....hello Gorgeous yellows! I'm having a difficult time rapping my brain around how you did this with an embossing folder. ..slow learner here, I msy need a visual!
Bright, sunny & GORGEOUS!

Oh wow, TK ... those gorgeous daisies just couldn't get any sunnier ... they're fabulous! How wonderful that you and the lovely Michele got to play cards together across the continent ... such fun! Hugs, Anita :)
