CASEing

 Hello and welcome!

I'm here today with a couple of CASEd cards.  Last week I actually made it to a PFS Craft Along, I usually miss them because they're early on Fridays but it happened to be my Friday off and no other urgent matters going on. Anywhooooo...
the first 3 cards were designed by Heather Hoffman or Lea Lawson, and I put my spin on them.

Card #1 ~

Card #2 ~

The first two card were made from a large 6x6 panel from a heat embossed rubber stamp, light ink blending in select areas, the flowers ink blended with a stencil, then split diagonally and placed according to your liking on opposing corners.

Card #3 ~

Lightly stamped 6x6 rubber stamp, then partially ink blended with the stencil and placed under the pretty frame.

Card #4 ~

This card is a similar design but I definitely wanted to use up the leftover panel from card #3.  I couldn't see a great strip going to waste!

PFS:  Magnolia Pattern stamp & stencil; Outline Foral Frame; Notched Corner Frame; Fancy Label Frames dies; Sentiments - 2 ephemera, 2 Extra Special Sentiments & dies

And since the Magnolia stam and, Floral frame die are both NBUS #68, I think I'll send one of these over there -- it's been awhile since I've actually joined in on challenge fun!

Well, another round of cards and no closer to getting those Christmas cards done!  Oy!
Wish me luck!

Hugs,
TK

Ida 2.0 and Christmas stash for the win!

 Good day, Fine Feathered Friends!

I come bearing more cards, this time from my most recent visit with Ida.  While we ended up going for lunch, I thought it wouldn't be appropriate to bring crafts so I went empty-handed and Ida came bearing more adorable images.  Sorry, Ida...  Bonus!  Most are Christmas, so here's to adding to my stash -- thanks, Ida!

Card #1 (not so Christmas-y) ~
Unity - Reel Great Guy; Darice - Argyle

Card #2 ~
Unity - KOM August '24; Splb - A Little Message sentiment

Card #3 ~
Unity - KOM Sept '24; Splb - Ski Lodge ef; Alt - Nested Slim dies; PFS - Magical Holiday sentiment pp

Card #4 ~
Unity - KOM Sept '24; PFS - Intricate Tiles & Frames

Card #5 ~
Unity - Simply Holiday Deer Oct '24

And a close-up... if you look really close, tilt your head to and fro, crank your screen around, you may be able to tell that I "lightly" inked a sky background, masking off a drift.  The drift was then outlined with Wink of Stella... well, at least I tried to capture it, but it's pretty IRL!
ETA - there also a couple of trees that I didn't dare fussy-cut, so those were added inside, to frame the inside sentiment.

That's it for me today, thanks for popping in and sharing a bit of your day.  Off to make more cards!

Hugs,
TK

Always Smiling

 Hello!

Today, er tonight..., I have a really quick post for a class I participated in this evening.  We made a couple of cards, hosted by a somewhat local craft store to me, Cobblestone Creek Studios in Damascus, OR, in participation with Pinkfresh Studios.  Nope, I haven't been to the store yet but you can bet I will next time I head towards Portland!  It was SO fun.

Card #1 ~

Class taught by Heather Hoffman, featuring Pinkfresh Studio products.  I swapped up my design a bit with my florals over the blank cardstock instead of covering up the beautiful coverplate, plus I believe this was a different sentiment from the set?  Maybe not?  lol

Card #2 ~

Class taught by Lea Lawson, I kept pretty close to her design and colors, though I think I went a bit softer in color.

PFS - Always Smiling pp, foiled in champagne, stencils and die; Charming Stitched Florals cp; Fancy Rectangle Frame die

Hope to see you all soon, enjoy the holiday weekend, and be sure to thank all those amazing servicemen/women this Veteran's Day!

Hugs,
TK

QACAS Birthday

 Hello, Friends!

Today's card comes as a CAS card done pretty quickly, well... as quickly as I can go!
It was given to a co-worker, so it's already given out.  Care to see?

Recently I purchased a whole stash of PB items, and here are just a few.  I started with the image, Copic-colored and fussy cut and attached to the die cut.  It was then popped up on the embossed background, and everything attached to the card base.  Oh yes, a sentiment was stamped (hmmmm not sure where this one came from), but it was hand-cut into a tag and added below the sweet image.
A close-up ~

Well that's it for today but I have MANY more PB items to come!  First, back to my last meet-up with Ida, then onto Christmas -- oh BOY am I behind!
This will be sent to NBUS #68, since all of the items are having their first outing.

Hope you're having a WONDERFUL weekend!  Enjoy!

Hugs,
TK
