So, my story... well I thoght I'd try to Copic color an image when suddenly I realized I just stamped with the wrong ink! Well instead of trash the piece of paper, I switched gears and decided to watercolor the image instead. Unfortunately I was having issues with my colors blending, bubbling, and just general frustration! It wasn't until I actually was on the last, the watercolor shadow underneath my images, that I started to get all this WEIRD veining, running that I couldn't seem to control OR make look decent.
It was THEN, that I realized my attempt to save my image just wasn't going to work, well, because I forgot I didn't stamp on watercolor paper! So you can see the weird shadow underneath, the leg coloring that seemed to go where it wanted and then there's those toes! Who painted those things, my 3-year old grandson? Actually even he colors inside the lines better than this!
So, there goes, here's my boo boo! FYI, it did hit the trash but Darnell announced this blog just in time for me to rescue it from the trash! Thanks, Darnell!
Thanks for joining me, and I hope you enjoy the hop because I think we all have "mind farts" every now and then!!!

I'm laughing with you. TFS.
Oh you and I might just be cut from the same cloth when it comes to watercolors!! I always try it, then realize it's the wrong paper! Too much fun TK, Darnell will be thrilled!!
Funny I use the bleeding to help some of my images yours unfortunately went alot more then I've ever had at least someone found some use for it hugs Nikki
Yeah TK you sure got my friend and I laughing at the pinkies...I hope you used the image on a card
Some days, it's just not our day is it! I gave up on all forms of colouring other than with pencils, I can control them, other forms of colouring just run amok! Good job we can laugh at ourselves though eh? TFS. Have a great day! Hazel xx

Oh my gosh TK! I think we've all done this!!! I know I've forgotten to use watercolor paper and then wondered why my paints were going all weird! Thanks for sharing this, it just shows how we can laugh and learn : ). Bev
Oh! that paper problem! Nothing kills a creative buzz faster:(
In the future you can send these brain fart cards to me, TK! I would love it! Now, see, in this case, well to me it simply looks like Ellie had to go. I mean, she REALLY REALLY REALLY had to go! We all have been in that situation, right? Or is it just me? I do hope her owner just ignored the whole thing and repainted her toenails for her. Dignity is important!
As you can see, I got a hoot out of your card and to be serious for a minute, I've done the same thing (and, duh, more than once!) by forgetting that I need both the right black ink AND watercolor paper to spect to get any decent results!
Thank you so much for being a good sport and playing in my first BFCBB Hop!! Enjoy the weekend! Hugs, Darnell
Well TK, knowing me, I would have simply added glitter to Elle's toenails and pretended they were supposed to be splotchy ~ it's a watercolor, right! :o)
Oh, we do live and learn that the right card stock is a must with water coloring. I am like you and have made similar mistakes. But I hope you redid it as it looks like a great looking card other than that.
Oh my! Ink and paper issues: count me in! We won't tally up how many panels I've messed up for those very reasons! Perhaps that's why my colouring is pencil only these days...Your oopsie makes me smile (that's one darn cute ellie, by the way!)

You know, the older I get, the more my toes look like that!
This is why I don't watercolour or use copics often, either I have the wrong paper, ink or am just rubbish at it. Love the elephants toes they really made me smile. Thanks for sharing.

If only you'd made a blue shadow she would have looked like she was swimming. ;) I always discard my boo boos so no entry for me.
Such a cute ellie, TK ... with or without bleeding watercolours and nail polish! Been there, done that ... all too often!! Hugs, Anita :)
Like you I've also investigated whether we have to use watercolour paper unintentionally. I hope the second attempt went better! Cara x
Picking the wrong bits of kit can completely screw up a project, can't it. But that bleeding, feathery look on the shadow actually looks rather interesting, I'm sure you could use the same idea to make some really interesting arty backgrounds. You might just have invented a new technique.

Cute image, been there done that! Probably why I have not done much watercoloring...smile. Thanks for sharing.
Such a cute image and you had me laughing because we've ALL don't that before! Have a wonderful week!
I have done that too!!!! You are certainly not the only one!
