Let It Be Christmas

 Hello!

I'm here for a very quick post, let's see if I can pull it off!  My first card will be going to FMS #712 ~

An embossed piece from a friend, a watercolored image and the sentiment placed off to the side.
Oh yah - the nose glossed and hat shimmered!

And for card #2 ~
Another snippet of snow embossing, a small panel of a new paper pack, image colored with Copics and selectively cut with an arch die, then on the next size up panel.

Two more cards for the stash!  And since this set is NBUS, it'll go there to play.

Supplies:
Both - PB Arctic Friends (NBUS)
Card #1 - PB Christmas Warmth (also NBUS); PTI Delightful Brackets (NBUS too)
Card #2 - PB Scandinavian Holiday dp (NBUS); WF Nested Dome dies (selectively cut down)

Thanks for the visit!

Hugs,
TK

Stained Glass Greetings

 Good morning!

Today I come with... you guessed it!  Two Christmas cards from an old stamp set, still unused, until today!  I took the stained glass words and arranged them in two different ways, colored them in with Copics and added a bit of shine with a gelly pen.

Card #1 ~
Image cut with a die and placed over a pinpoint coverplate - ez pz!

Card #2 ~
Cut into a close rectangle, just with a trimmer, corner lopped with a partial circle die, then mounted on a slightly larger panel of "leather-skin" gold paper, trimmed similarly.  Another ez pz!

Supplies:
Card #1 and #2  - SSS Stained Glass Greetings
Card #1 MFT - Elegant Rectangle Stax; MB Pinpoint Leaf cp
   Card #2 unknown circle punch

Thank you for the visit, your friendship means so much!
I am blessed, and I am thankful!

Hugs,
TK

Holly Jolly Wishes

Hello and welcome!

I have another couple of cards today, hoping to send to a few challenges.  It all started with an NBUS set, used up a few "bits" lying around and voila!  Oh yah, then times two 😉

Card #1 ~
Stamped, colored, glossified bulbs and placed over an unused inked background on my desk, just adding small splatters for snow.  I've had back luck with splatters so they are small, go ahead and zoom in if you need to check.  I had the sentiment already stamped, and in its envelope so that was easy!

This one will be heading to NBUS #80 for the new stamp set, and JUGS #801 - Winter.

Card #2 ~
Once again, stamped and colored with Copics, a little masking for the trees, then cut it down and brought out the greens, then added a tag with the sentiment.  I took pictures, then decided that I wanted to glossify the bulbs, so I then had to get new pics...

This sentiment cracks me up!  Not your typical Holly, Jolly so I added that to the inside.
This card will be going to FMS #712 - I hope Verena allows me to make it a vertical layout...

Supplies:
Card #1 and #2 Unity - Wingin' It This Holiday, Simple Holiday (both NBUS)
Card #1 PB - Stencil Basics, Simple Holiday (sentiment)
Card #2 Unity - Simple Holiday (trees); MFT - Blueprints 27

Well, that's it for me today, but I am playing the Catch Up to Christmas game, so you will be seeing more.  Thanks for the visit!

Hugs,
TK

From Me to You

Hello and welcome!  I'm back, at long last...

Today I'll be joining JUGS #799 CASE a DT member, but I chose to CASE two DT members, in various ways.  You see, I love Bobby's daisies on the colored die frame with the white edge blacked out.  However, I didn't have the dies for my stamps (and I definitely wasn't feeling the fussy cutting), so I had to go with it stamped directly on the die frame.  As much as I love the frame she used, it was just too big and covered up too much of the background panel for me.  So, then I looked to Carol's card and loved the off-set focal point.  I found an unused, already embossed panel just waiting to be used, so that worked out!  After mounting everything on the card base, I used my blending brush to add just a tad leftover green ink to the far-right corners and side.  Yep, I'm happy with it!  Oh, yes, the stamp was stenciled with one coral ink and two green inks.  While the layering is faint, I do like it as it doesn't make the inking lines look harsh.  Here's my inspiration ~

 Does it work?

Since this stamp/stencil set, the sentiment/dies, and the embossing folder are making their first appearance, I'll be sending this to NBUS #80 also.

Secondly, I used the same set but additional image for one more card while it was out.  This time, I stamped the image, blended through stencils with slightly different colors.  I then cut the panel with a die and removed the outer edges to run through an embossing folder, used in the debossed orientation.  A second frame cut of glitter cs to match the champagne NBUS foiled sentiment.

I really like this Fall color combo on this image, so it will go to Color Hues #121 - orange and brown.  It also showcases a new set of press plate sentiments, so if I could send a second card from the same post...NBUS Challenge #80 would be the other challenge.  Wish me luck!

Supplies:
Card #1 = Alt - Sisters of the Heart stamp/stencils; Splb - Leafy 3D embossing folder, Curved Everyday Sentiment gp/dies
Cars #2 = Alt - Sisters of the Heart stamp/stencils; PFS - Ornate Rectangle Frame; PB - Texture e/f; Splb - Sentiments of Wonder bpp

That's it for me today, I'm so glad you stopped by and shared your day with me!  Have a great week and I hope to see you soon.

Hugs,
TK
