Playing Flowers & Frames with Ida

 Hello and welcome!
While it seems that I haven't been creating (yikes), it's actually that I haven't posted any.  However, some of those have to be held for posting later -- yes, you'll see them eventually!

Today's card features more items that Ida and I decided to use together.  While we are both using the same flower (I believe), I'm not sure which frame she went with so that'll be a surprise!  Here's my card ~

Since this is a PB Garden Trio flower, PB Stitched Circles & Squares frame and PB Noted embossing folder, I decided to go all out and go ala PB Flowers & Frames with Jill Foster!  I've used a sketch gone by, but I loved it and decided to borrow it for this card.  A copic-colored flower, die cut frame and embossed piece (both ink-blended), and my handy little foiled sentiment round this one out.  Here's a close-up of that shine ~

This will be making it's appearance at PBSC - May - Anything Goes, no monochromatic scheme here, and NBUS Challenge #74.

Supplies:
PB - Garden Trio stamp, Noted e/f, Stitched Circles & Squares dies (NBUS)
PFS - Fancy Script Words hfp

Thanks for the visit!  I'm off to see Ida's wonderful creation!  Come on, join me.
Have a great, safe Memorial Weekend -- we're off on a motorcycle ride with family!

Hugs,
TK

Mom - Happiness Blooms

 Well, hello there, Friends!

Today I have a post that'll be visiting a few challenges and be handed to Mom this weekend!  It all started with Ida and I using the same products, ones that I had shared during our last visit.  Then of course, there was the PB Saturday Challenge and the PERFECT sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  It must've been fate!  Here is the product (main image) that Ida chose to use today ~

I started by stamping the flowers in VersaFine Claire Morning Mist, Copic coloring, adding dots of white and sparkle pens, plus winking with stella on the flower centers.  The darker panel is actually a great compliment, but I decided to add stripes, and so foiled it with an opal foil, which is really pretty IRL, but of course hard to capture!  I then decided to add the small letter dies for M-O-M and popped up the sentiment.
Hubbs says this is his all-time favorite card of mine!  I do believe that the photo doesn't do it justice... but I think he's a bit prejudiced.

This will be entered at (drumroll please) ~

PBSC May- Anything Goes, FMS #685 by Linda (sketch), Triple B May (blooms & colors), and The Flower Challenge #102 - Stripes or Dots

Now, why not pop over to Ida's and see what beauty she's made today!

Supplies:
   PB - Blooms
CP - Scallops & Dots (frame dies)
   PFS - Diagonal Plaid pp
   PTI - Smooth Alpha

Thanks for the visit and have a GREAT day!

Hugs,
TK

On Your Special Day

 Welcome back!
I'm always happy to imagine the smiling faces of friends far and near, coming for a visit.

Here's today's card ~
The inside sentiment:
Here's to beautiful Beginnings & happy Ever Afters

I did use the colors from Color Hues' last challenge, the stenciling from JUGs' last challenge, but since it will be posted afterwards, I guess this will be visiting NBUS #74 today.
I used my NBUS pp/hfp for the background, the NBUS flowers, stencils and dies and a matching pre-foiled sentiment from my stash.  This card will be hand-delivered to the recipient today.

Supplies:
PFS - Interlaced Diamond pp/hfp, Playful Petals stamp/stencil/dies
Splb - Yana's Special Sentiments, (inside) New Beginnings Timeless sentiments

Here's to a GREAT weekend!

Hugs,
TK
