Just a Hedgie for Fun!

Hello and Welcome!

Today's card is on its way to the recipient, a favorite of mine, if I do say so myself!  Recently we had a family Birthday party and my grandson was unable to make it, due a waning cold and lasting cough.  It's such a bummer when we can't all get together, but we have to keep everyone safe for sure.
Here's the card I sent to him ~

This little cutie came to me recently, as did the postage stamp and die.  I couldn't resist and needed to send him to my grandson, with well-wishes and hugs!  He was stamped inside the postage stamp and Copic colored.  I used a stencil to ink blend the base, to show off the hedgie's colors a bit more.  Here's a weird angle, in case you need a different view ~

Since my postage stamp/die and hedgie stamp is NBUS, we'll be entering over at NBUS #71.

Supplies:
PB - Postage Stamp & die, Hedge Adventures (both NBUS), Background Basic stencils
   MFT - Blueprints 27

Thanks you for the visit!

Hugs,
TK

Subtle Flowers for Big Wishes

 Good Afternoon, Friends!

Today I have a card to share, for Daughter #2's Birthday (actually tomorrow, but we celebrated today).  This card brings many wishes for her personally, but also for the wee one she's carrying!  Yep, this'll be our second grandchild and we are ecstatic!
While most of us got together, our youngest daughter and family were unable to make it due to sickeness.  While a cold or cough might be okay most days, we needed to take the extra precaution for Mama-to-be, so sadly some couldn't attend.

Here's the card ~

I ink-blended the florals from an NBUS stencil/die set and cut it out.  The double hexagon frame and sentiment were hot foiled in black and die cut, to accent the black flower centers.  The hexagon frame was popped up on foam, the flower popped up on low foam tape and the sentiment over that.  Can you notice the shine from the foiling?  Can you see the subtle color on the card base?  Maybe this helps.  Maybe not.

That foiling is hiding but the bottom left was ink blended with leftover ink on the brush in teal, and leftover sage in the upper right.

While I already had this card made, my friend Michele directed me to the challenge at Inkspirational #335 moodboard, plus I get to play along at NBUS #71 for most of my items used -- yay!

Supplies:
Alt. - Hill Blossoms stencil/die (NBUS)
MFT - Double Hexagon hot foil plate (NBUS)
PFS - Fancy Script Words hfp/dies

That's it for me today!  Thank you for the visit -- have a blessed weekend!

Hugs,
TK

Good Friend

Hello!
Long time no see (er... be here)!  I've been in the background stalking, as moments would allow, but I HAD to make a card with some new toys, so here she be ~

I started with Jill's sketch #1 from her New Year's Motivation series, and it's beautiful.  The products I used are all NBUS from Christmas, not that long ago, which is awesome!!!  My sweet kiddo was colored with Copics.  In Jill's sketch, she used the white strip only to transition from the embossed piece to the base; however, I decided to add the red strip and give 'er another pop of color!  Here's a close-up of the sweet girl ~

Oh yes, and a little sparkle on her bag!
I'll be sending this card to several challenges, yay me!  Amazingly, I made the card first, and then decided to look around to see what fit...

NBUS #71 (all products), Penny Black Saturday Challenge (no hearts but lotsa red, a first entry for this challenge), FMS #673, Triple B Feb '25 (oh, that glorious red, even if my bird is blue!).

Supplies:
PB - Bundled Buddies stamp, Noted embossing folder, Classy Frames

Whew!  You'd think I hadn't done this in a while (well that's true)!  Thank you for the visit, and your patience in my away time.  I still may not be very regular at posting for a while, but I sure am gonna try.

Hugs,
TK
