Celebrate with Sunflowers

 Hello again!

I'm back again today with a Birthday card for a sweet daughter, I am actually blessed with three, this one is for Daughter #2.  This will post after her Birthday because we're celebrating late so we can have my grandson there too.  Here's her card ~

Can I just say that I love this sunflower?  Yes, it's a bit more orange than usual but I really wanted it posted over the background paper.  The cover plate and label is new-to-me and thus NBUS, it's really pretty I think.  Hindsight I think I went a bit dark on the green center of the sunflower, but live and learn right?!  I'll be sending this over to NBUS #23.  I never bothered to ask but, Darnell, if "new to me" doesn't count for NBUS, just boot me out - lol!  Hey I'm using stuff quicker though  ;0)  OK, well some...

Supplies:
   HB - Sweet Sunflowers
PTI - Lace Impression plate, Label L
   Alt. - Birthday Greetings

Well that's it for me today!  Have a bless day.

Hugs,
TK

A Bouquet of Beauties

 Hello, Friends!

I made a card for a sweet blog friend (HB, Anita!), it's been mailed and hopefully received by now so we'll get right to it.  This one is different for me because I've never colored on the back side of vellum so take a peek...

OK, you probably noticed the wonky photo, or the bent card -- I'm not sure what happened here!  It looks way worse in the photo so please give me mercy.

I stamped the bouquet on vellum and heat embossed with a silver pearl e/p, flipped it over and Copic colored on the back of the flowers.  It was then cut and added to the front of the card, a small frame added, then the heat embossed banner popped over top.  A close-up ~

Supplies:
Stamplorations: Same image won and used on card posted on 1/18/21
   MCS (OoB):  Banners - Straight
   Alt:  Birthday Greetings

Hope everyone is well, and getting used to "2021"!  Somehow it doesn't seem much different from last year, some things relaxing, some receiving vaccinations, but now "the new strain".  Lord help us all through this!  Hope you have a GREAT day today.

Hugs,
TK

So Sorry

Good Day, Sweet Friends!  So glad you could stop by.

I have one of those cards you never want to send, but we all have to at times.  Fortunately I don't need this one, but I do like to keep a stash and since I'm low, I decided to make one, especially since no other occasions were pressing.

I used the color scheme from MFT Color Challenge #159 and the prompt at The Flower Challenge #53 - Use Your Latest Stuff.  Here's my card ~

A pretty muted color palette but I liked the colors and the softness.  This stamp is new to me, and I've been waiting for the perfect opportunity!

Supplies:
   Alt. - Festive Floral Frame
PF - Diag. Stitched Rectangle die
   MFT - Deepest Sympathy

Thanks again for stopping by and sharing a moment your day, and I hope it's spectacular!

Hugs,
TK

All Kinds of Amazing, You Are

Well howdy, Friends!  Glad you could stop in!

Today's card is a thank you for a sweet friend!  (I hope she's received it!)

Can I say I LOVE this cover plate?  Love, love, love the texture!  But then again, I have an antique wicker chair that has caning, so it holds a special place in my heart.  Another new stamp, used for the first time, this precious girl and her pup -- I also have a sweet spot for pups too    :o)
And a close-up ~

Stamped, Copic colored, cut and popped over that partial red piece of embossed red paper.  Easy and cute -- just the way I like 'em!  There's a few NBUS items on this card, so I'll enter this over at NBUS #23.

Supplies:
   Unk. - Caning I/P (NBUS)
St. Bella - Dawn Loves Her Doggie (NBUS)
MFT - Anybhing but Basic - Friendship

Hope you have a fabulous day, and the weather cooperates with YOUR weekend!

Hugs,
TK

Christmas in February?

 Hello!

I gotta admit, I'm one that struggles with making Christmas cards too early but I ABSOLUTELY appreciate that I did so come December!  Here's my first one to post this year even though it was made on the tail end of 2020.

I know these images are all the rage because they're so adorable, but I have to admit I don't think I did it justice!  I think you'll agree I had a great idea, but my Christmas tree leaves MUCH to be desired - lol!  Here it is ~

Ok ok I'm not a tree artist, but I thought the two meeses were adorable sneaking in that present... or are they sneaking away with it?!  Either way, must. get. Christmas. tree. stamps.

Supplies:
   CCC - Birthday wishes
   ? - sentiment (I've forgotten)

I hope everyone is staying safe, being crafty and looking forward to the "hopefully" long weekend I know there's a couple holidays right together, and I hope to ENJOY THEM - lol.  Thank you for stopping in for a visit.

Hugs,
TK

You Tickle My Fancy

 Hello again, Friends!

I'm joining on the last CTS, to wish them goodbye and good luck in their future endeavors.  While I'm sure I slipped by most challenges, I enjoyed the ones I could participate it.  I know must take a great commitment to keep a challenge running, fresh and fun -- so Thank You, CTS!  Here's my entry for CTS #405 ~

Another Valentine's Day card, and I really enjoyed the challenge.  This particular one was not an easy one for me but I hope I've added a bit of fun.

I also used the colors from MFT CC #158, but unfortunately my dark pink looks rather red!  After I took the photo, I decided to put glossy accents on the heart and brush full of paint.  I'll enter this at ~

Hope you liked it, and it tickled your fancy!

Supplies:
   CCC - Wishing Happiness
   MCS (OoB) - Be Mine
LF - Inside Out Stitched Hearts
   MFT - Blueprints 27 (banners)

That's all for me, Folks!  Thanks for the visit.

Hugs,
TK
